Woodland
Located 20 miles north of Vancouver, Woodland, Washington is a community that provides an atmosphere for those looking for a small town, but is located just a short distance away from the Portland/Vancouver Metro area. Woodland allows those looking to live in a small town the ability to work in a larger city, but leave it all behind at the end of the day. Located in Woodland is the Cedar Creek Grist Mill. A working museum, they still grind flour and corn meal here, and one day a year apple cider. In 1961, Cedar Creek Grist Mill was registered as a Historical Place.
Woodland is a wonderful town with a lot to offer to its residents. While the town is growing quickly, Woodland is maintaining its small-town feel. Another incentive to live in Woodland is the tax rates are lower than those in Portland and Vancouver.
