Rick has been in the Real Estate industry for 11 years and started his own Real Estate company, “Pro Realty Group NW, LLC" in August of 2016.
Rick has a strong background of sales and marketing to include 30+ years in the confection and snack industry. Upon being inducted into the Candy Hall of Fame in 2004 with well known manufacturers as William Wrigley Junior and Forrest Mars of Mars candy company Rick received the distinguished award in 2005 of “The Candy Dish” only presented to 1 industry leader per year world wide. He decided to retire from the confection industry and start another venture into the Real Estate business as a 2nd career. His success from the confection industry parlayed quite nicely in the RE business.
Rick is known as “The Undisputed Leader” for owning whatever business he participates in and developing new “Opportunities” in and through his efforts.

I’m a Vancouver native, a graduate of Hudson’s Bay High School and Gonzaga University, and after college I spent most of my twenties experiencing life outside the Northwest including San Francisco, Boston, and Vail. But when my high school sweetheart and I decided to get married, we chose to come back to the Pacific Northwest to start our family. We have two young, incredible sons, great family and friends and a very busy, wonderful life.
Prior to joining Pro Realty Group NW, I worked as a development officer for a local children’s hospital. Working with donors and helping them connect to a cause they felt passionate about taught me the importance of patience, integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to really listen. These are qualities I carry beyond my professional life.

I was born and raised in Vancouver, WA. After graduating from Hudson’s Bay High School, I set off for Washington State University in Pullman, WA.
After finishing college, I landed my first job in the apparel importing business and then spent 5 years as an Underwriter in the Insurance business. I was then fortunate to have the opportunity to follow in my father’s footsteps. I worked with him for 5 years assisting in Real Estate, learning the business from behind the scenes. I have five wonderful Children and have been married for nearly 28 years to the girl of my dreams. I love to spend time with my family and am an avid outdoor enthusiast. I enjoy backpacking, kayaking, rock climbing, mountaineering, fly fishing, and have coached my kids in almost every sport from soccer to pole vault. I am a certified USATF (Track and Field) official and love to work track meets from grade school to Division l. I am an avid bird and nature lover and love the beauty of the Pacific Northwest!
My latest endeavor stems from my interest in poverty alleviation and education for underprivileged kids. My wife and I have helped start and fund a non-profit organization for school kids in Swaziland, Africa. I have also been a Volunteer Leader in the boy Scouts of America for over 25 years and have loved sharing my adventures and my love of the outdoors with others.
